A native of Elko, Nevada, Sneed was a frequent flyer between Houston and AAA Round Rock during 2019. The righthander was called up to the Astros six times and sent down as the parent club juggled rosters.

In his rookie season, Sneed crafted an 0-1 record and 5.48 ERA in eight games. He will get the chance to crack the roster again in 2020 as either a starter or long reliever.
