A big, powerful outfielder out of the Dominican Republic, Santana was part of the 2011 trade that sent Hunter Pence to Philadelphia. Santana was called up in July of 2014 but the then 21-year-old went 0-for-18 before being sent back to AAA. The following season, Domingo hit .256 with two homers in 39 at-bats with the Astros before being dealt to Milwaukee in the Carlos Gomez - Mike Fiers trade.

He has matured into a productive major leaguer, bashing 30 homers for Milwaukee in 2017 and 21 homers for Seattle in 2019. In his six big league seasons through 2019, Santana has posted a .259 batting average with 75 homers, 232 RBIs, 30 steals and a .797 OPS.
