Mark Tremell McLemore spent one season with Houston (1991) as a utility infielder and hit .148 in 21 games. But he turned out to be a late bloomer who earned a starting job with Orioles in 1993 then became a fixture in the American League throughout a 19-year career.

Overall, he posted a .259 average with 53 homers as an Angel, Indian, Astro, Oriole, Ranger, Mariner and Athletic but you'd never guessed it watching his brief stint in Houston.
