Originally selected by the Astros out of Arizona State in 1972, the lefty was 5-9 with a 4.02 ERA in two seasons with Houston. Traded to Detroit after the 1975 season with Dave Roberts and Milt May, Crawford pitched three more seasons with the Tigers, going 10-19 before retiring.
