Perhaps best known as the great-nephew of Eddie Cicotte of Black Sox lore, the righthander was originally signed by the Yankees and had stints with the Senators, Tigers, Indians and Cardinals before making his last big league stop in Houston with the expansion Colt .45s.

He threw in five games with no record and a 3.86 ERA while with Houston. Over his full career, he posted a 10-13 mark.

Cicotte passed away on November 29, 1982.
