I remember being pretty excited when he hit a solo home run in the 9th inning to break up a no-hitter by Greg Maddux.

Bagwell has been the team for the last 10 years. When Bagwell does bad, so do the Astros. Hes the absolute rock of this team, and re-signing him this off-season was the best move since they aquired him for Larry Anderson.

I'll never forget the unassisted double play he made in the 2001 season.  Baserunner on first, batter bunts a fly ball in Jeff's direction.  Jeff was just about to catch it, then wisely let it drop, keeping the force on.  He scoops it up, trots to first base, tags the original baserunner, THEN touches the bag with his foot to retire the batter.
